For the second week of the championship, United's teams were off to Devonport to play against the Strikers. As the Strikers won 2-1 against City last week it was a good chance for United to get a strong game and see if the team can fix some issues.
The Under 18's confirmed their good start by winning 2-0 in a pleasant game.
Despite their win last week the reserve jammed and loose 9-0 against a strong Striker reserve team.
The senior proposed an hard game to Devonport. The Strikers deserved their win but had to battle very hard. Nathan Bartlett and Thors Niemly scored for United. Even without the win their is good things to bring out from this game and the team will continue to work hard and prepare the next game against Riverside.

Launceston United Soccer Club, is a football (soccer) club which represents Launceston in the Tasmanian Northern Premier League. The club also fields teams in all junior divisions, as well as womens teams. Launceston United play their home games at Birch Avenue, in Launceston, Tasmania.
